Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A few things clients ask most often. If your question is not here, send us a message and we will gladly help.

Medical Aid & Billing

How does billing work with my Namibian medical aid?

All our services are aligned with standard Namibian Association of Medical Aid Funds (NAMAF) tariffs and coded in compliance with clinical ICD standards. We claim directly from the medical aids depending on your specific scheme and benefit plan, because we are contracted with all medical aids in Namibia.

How much do sessions cost, and how does billing work?

Our fees align strictly with the standard Namibian Association of Medical Aid Funds (NAMAF) tariff schedule. Costs depend on the specific service and duration. Medical Aid: We claim directly from all registered medical aid schemes in Namibia. Private / Cash Clients: If you are paying privately or would like a cost estimate for a assessment before your appointment, please get in touch with us for a quotation.

What happens if I need to cancel or cannot make my appointment?

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we will move or cancel the appointment at no cost. A session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without word, may be charged, because the time was held for you and could not be offered to anyone else. Call or WhatsApp +264 (81) 273 6001. A message is enough, and you do not need to give a reason.

First Consultations

What should I expect from booking through the first session?

1. Booking & Confirmation: Request an appointment through our online portal or by phone. Please note that online requests are finalized once confirmed by our administration team via email, call, or message. 2. Pre-Session Intake: Prior to your initial visit, we may send you a secure form to capture your biographical, contact, and medical aid details. 3. The First Session: Your initial consultation is an intake assessment. We will explore your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy, while evaluating overall psychological functioning. Together, we will outline a recommended path forward; whether that involves ongoing therapy, psychometric evaluation, or a specialized external referral. Attending an initial consultation carries no obligation to commit to a long-term course of treatment.

Psychometric Assessments

How long does a psychometric assessment take?

Comprehensive psychometric assessments typically require two to three sessions. This process includes an initial intake interview followed by standardized testing. Upon completion, data is scored, analyzed, and interpreted to produce a written report containing key findings and tailored, practical recommendations.

Teletherapy & Remote Care

Are online sessions as effective as in-person visits?

Yes. We offer secure, confidential Teletherapy consultations for clients across Namibia. Teletherapy is available for psychotherapy, initial intake consultations, and assessment feedback sessions.
