Your initial intake session is a confidential consultation focused on understanding your personal history, current challenges, and goals. Together, we will outline a tailored psychotherapy plan or determine if formal psychometric testing is required.
1. Booking & Confirmation: Request an appointment through our online portal or by phone. Please note that online requests are finalized once confirmed by our administration team via email, call, or message. 2. Pre-Session Intake: Prior to your initial visit, we may send you a secure form to capture your biographical, contact, and medical aid details. 3. The First Session: Your initial consultation is an intake assessment. We will explore your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy, while evaluating overall psychological functioning. Together, we will outline a recommended path forward; whether that involves ongoing therapy, psychometric evaluation, or a specialized external referral. Attending an initial consultation carries no obligation to commit to a long-term course of treatment.
No referral is required. You are welcome to book directly with us at any time. If you have been referred by a healthcare professional or GP, referral letters are appreciated to assist us in coordinating your care.
Comprehensive psychometric assessments typically require two to three sessions. This process includes an initial intake interview followed by standardized testing. Upon completion, data is scored, analyzed, and interpreted to produce a written report containing key findings and tailored, practical recommendations.
Yes. We offer secure, confidential Teletherapy consultations for clients across Namibia. Teletherapy is available for psychotherapy, initial intake consultations, and assessment feedback sessions.
This varies with the presenting concern, your goals, and how you respond to the therapeutic process. Some clients benefit from short-term, focused work of six to twelve sessions; others engage over a longer period. We review progress together regularly, and you remain in control of the pace and duration of therapy. There is no fixed minimum commitment.
Yes. We provide therapy and psychometric assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. For minors, parental or guardian consent is required before any services commence, and parents are kept appropriately informed throughout, while still protecting the young person's right to a confidential therapeutic space.
Yes. Confidentiality is a foundational legal and ethical standard in psychological practice. Everything shared during therapy and assessment sessions is strictly confidential, adhering to Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) ethical standards. Exceptions to confidentiality are limited to statutory legal obligations, such as an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others or a court order, which will be discussed transparently during your initial consent process.
There is no obligation and no rush. Write when you are ready, and we will take it from there.
